Calibration (Settings → CONTROLS → CALIBRATE)

If your taps feel right but land late, something between the game and your senses is adding delay. Calibration measures it in three short steps and can tell the two causes apart:

The result screen shows the number, a plot of where each of your taps landed, and a plain sentence explaining it (for example, that your audio lags your display by 90ms). You can nudge the value a millisecond at a time, re-run just the FEEL TEST to check it (your adjustment is kept), then apply. Every step can be skipped, on a controller too, and QUICK TEST on the opening screen runs the third step alone. Delay your device reports on its own is compensated automatically; calibration measures what is left.

Touch

Tap the lanes to play notes, tap and hold for sustained notes. All menus, editors and the DJ booth are touch-first. The screen stays awake during play.

Gamepad basics

Menus keep the face buttons to themselves while open, so confirming a dialog never hits a note behind it.

In-song quick controls

Controller presets

Custom rebinds accept a single button, a stick direction, or a held chord. Presets never overwrite your keyboard bindings.
